Prep Cross Country: Hadley wins Harrisburg meet for Wildcats

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort boys' was second on Tuesday's Harrisburg cross country meet, won by Norris City-Omaha-Enfield.

NCOE grabbed 47 points on the day, while the Wildcats had 62. Harrisburg took third with 72 points, while Gallatin County (78), Massac County (97), Galatia (NTS) and Hardin County (NTS) rounded out the schools.

CMSF was led by Robbie Hadley, who finished first overall with a time of 19:29. DC Stout was 11th for the Wildcats with a time of 22:04, Jacob Reeves was 15th with a time of 22:50, Nathan Collins was 17th with a time of 23:43 and Shawn Carter was 18th with a time of 23:46. Skyler Collins turned in a time of 32:04 for 31st place.

On the girls' side, CMSF's Lizzie Bristow was ninth overall with a time of 28:13.

"I thought Robbie ran really strong today," CMSF head coach Mike Eisenhauer said. "He had a good time on a hilly course and won by a comfortable margin. Lizzie ran well today also. "
