Prep Cross Country: Whiting, Motsinger pace Wildcats

Loren Whiting had a fifth place finish for the Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School cross country team, finishing with a time of 18:40, while Gabe Motsinger turned in a 19th place performance with a time of 21:18.

For Eldorado, Bret Plunkett turned in a time of 18:56 for a sixth place showing, while Emilie Farmer (14th, 26:07), Kim Acheson (15th, 26:13) and Grace Pena (25th, 27:31) turned in times on the girls' side.

In the freshmen/sophomore race, Billy Lewis was sixth for the Wildcats with a time of 23:18, while Chris Acheson finished fourth with a time of 22:11 and Brandon Burnett was fifth with a time of 22:30.
