Prep Cross Country: CMSF takes third at Dave Gray Invite

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort cross country team took third place at last week's Dave Gray Invitational at Norris City.

The Wildcats scored 83 points, finishing behind Hamilton County (21) and Gallatin County (73) and above of Eldorado (89) and Pope County (157).

Justin Austin turned in a third place overall finish for CMSF with a time of 1848, while Brandon Walker finished in 21:21 for a 16th place finish.

Billy Lewis was 19th in 21:40 and Nick Paris wasn't far behind, finishing in 22:03 for 20th place. Keegan Vandyke was 25th in a time of 22:56 and Trenton Winchester was 31st with a time of 23:31.

"I thought the boys ran pretty well today," CMSF head coach Mike Eisenhauer said. "We are still, for the most part, young and new to running and we continue to improve. I am happy that our times are coming down with every meet that we run. We look to continue to get better and faster."
