Wildcat boys take third at Vienna
The Carrier Mills-Stonefort cross country boys' team took third out of five teams at Monday's Vienna meet.
Hamilton County won the event with 37 points, while Vienna was second with 47 points. CMSF picked up 65 points, while Harrisburg (92) and Massac County (103) rounded out the scoring.
Robbie Hadley paced the Wildcats with a fifth place finish in a time of 20:07, while Aidian Rollins was sixth overall and a time of 20:10. Jacob Reeves finished in the top 10 (10) with a time of 21:25, while DC Stout (20th, 23:47), Zaiver Rollins (24th, 24:40) and Nathan Collins (28th, 26:46) wrapped up the individual finishes on the boys side.
On the girls' side, Kaylee Smith was 22nd with a time of 31:21, while Lizzie Bristow was right behind her, finishing 23rd with a time of 31:26. Emma Odum was 25th with a time of 33:38 and Layna Odum was 28th with a time of 36:02.
"The kids ran well today," CMSF head coach Mike Eisenhauer said. "All of them continue to improve. We are looking forward to having some good practices this week and continue to build our base."
