Prep Cross Country: Wildcats turn in personal bests at WF

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort cross country team got a 36th place finish from Brandon Walker, who finished with a time of 19:00 at West Frankfort on Tuesday.

Billy Lewis had a time of 19:32 for the Wildcats to finish in 49th place, while Nick Paris wasn't far behind, finishing in 51st place with a time of 19:50. Keegan Vandyke (65, 21:43) and Trenton Winchester (67, 21:55) also competed for CMSF, as did, Andrew Lollis (22:49), Kale Rister (24:48) and Alex Peebles (26:14).

"I thought the boys ran well Tuesday," CMSF head coach Mike Eisenhauer said. "All of them ran their best times of the year. Billy, Nick and Kale all ran their best times by close to two minutes. I am pleased with all of their efforts today."
