Prep Cross Country: Wildcats continue to improve, turn in personal best times at Benton

At the Benton Class Meet on Thursday, Carrier Mills-Stonedfort's Justin Austin finished seventh in the junior class with a time of 18:45, while Brandon Walker was 13th with a time of 19:52.

Billy Lewis and Nick Paris, who ran in the sophomore class were 30th and 32nd, respectively. Lewis had a time of 21:20 and Paris finished at 22:01.

Freshmen Keegan VanDyke and Trenton Winchester finished 27th and 34th as VanDyke turned in a time of 23:35 and Winchester crossed the line at 25:02. Fellow classmates, Alex Peebles (38th, 28:59) and Kale Rister (39th, 29:13) rounded things out for the Wildcats cross country team.

"I thought Justin, Brandon, Billy, and Nick all ran well today," CMSF head coach Mike Eisenhauer said. "Brandon, Billy, and Nick all ran their personal best times today."
