Illinois State Fair cancels Nat and Alex Wolff concert

"Lagging" ticket sales have prompted Illinois State Fair officials to cancel the Nat and Alex Wolff concert set for Aug. 23, the last day of this year's fair.

The teenage Wolff brothers star in their own series on Nickelodeon, "The Naked Brothers Band."

A statement issued Friday did not say whether a replacement act would be booked; a fair spokeswoman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Officials said customers who purchased through Ticketmaster by phone or online would automatically be credited. If tickets were bought at a physical Ticketmaster outlet, they may be brought back for an immediate refund.

If tickets were purchased from the Grandstand box office, patrons must obtain a refund form and mail it to the box office with the tickets attached. Refund forms are available in person at the box office, by calling 782-1979 or by visiting www.illinoisstatefair.info (the forms were not yet online at 1:30 p.m. Friday).
