Prep Baseball: Eagles no-hit NCOE for fourth win

Three Eldorado pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter in a 14-0 win at Norris City-Omaha-Enfield earlier this week.

Anderson Woolcott, got the start and the win over the Cardinals, as he went three innings and struck out seven.

Dylan Vaughn worked one inning, striking out one, while Olen Oglesby pitched one inning, striking out three.

Eldorado had just seven hits on the day, manufacturing 14 runs as Canon Weatherly paced the EHS offense going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Chase Kittinger, Dylan Vaughn, Jake Phelps, Eli Ralston and Woolcott all had one hit as Vaughn, Woolcott and Ralson all finished with two RBI a piece. Trevor Milligan also drove in a run.

Parker Price, Vaughn and Ralston all scored two runs a piece for the Eagles, while Jameson Molinarolo, Andrew Murray, Nic Stanford, Kittinger, Milligan, Woolcott and Phelps all scored one run.

The Eagles scratched across a run in the sixth inning in an 8-1 loss to Carmi-White County earlier this week.

Parker Price's solo shot was the bright spot for the Eagles, who had seven hits on the day.

Price was 2-for-4 with a double and home run, while finishing with an RBI and a run scored.

Stanford was 2-for-3 at the plate, while Vaughn, Woolcott and Ralston all had one hit.

On the bump, Price took the loss, going three innings and allowing four runs on two hits with five strikeouts and four walks.

Milligan pitched 2.2 innings of relief, allowing four runs (one earned) on two hits with a strikeout and a walk and Vaughn pitched 1/3 of inning.
