Prep Softball: Eagles fall to NCOE, Flora

The Eldorado softball team dropped a 15-3 game to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Wednesday afternoon in nonconference action.

Kaylee Oglesby took the loss in the circle as she gave up seven earned runs on nine hits, while walking six.

At the plate, EHS scattered out six hits on the day with Kaitlyn Mayberry, Adrianna Hendrix, Piper DeBose, Sydney Farmer, Hannah Farmer and Oglesby all coming up with one hit.

Sydney Farmer and DeBose each had doubles on the day as Farmer drove in two runs. Oglesby, Debose and Hannah Farmer each scored one run.

Eldorado tied the game at 2-all after the Eagles scored a pair in the seconding inning. NCOE grabbed a 4-2 lead with two more runs in the third and then poured on 11 runs in the fourth inning, before EHS plated one run in the fifth.

On Tuesday night, Flora downed Eldorado 17-11 on a night where the Eagles had 13 hits.

Mayberry and Debose led the charge, each going 3-for-4. Mayberry had a pair of RBI and a run scored, while DeBose drove in one run and scored a run.

Brooklyn Biggerstaff and Oglesby each had two hits on the day with Biggerstaff finishing with a team-high three RBI. Oglesby drove in two runs and scored two runs.

Hendrix, along with Sydney and Hannah Farmer each had one hit. Hendrix scored a pair of runs, while both Farmer girls scored one run, joining Cassidy Wells.

Haley Kate Oldham took the loss, allowing 11 earned runs on 17 hits, while walking four and striking out three.
