Prep Bowling: Harrisburg picks up wins over Massac County

The Harrisburg bowling teams knocked off Massac County on Monday as the Bulldog boys picked up a 2615-2391 victory over the Patriots, while the girls won 2252-1952.

Noah Arnold posted a 604 for his first ever 600 series and freshman Karol Simmons shot 575 for her high series of the year.

"This was much better on both sides (Monday night)," HHS head coach Doug Cottom said. "Karol started slowly, but really finished nicely with a 207 and 244 the last two. Noah came through with his 600 for the first time. Hopefully this one of many to come for these two."

Harrisburg was scheduled to host Anna-Jonesboro on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will host Marion on Wednesday. Harrisburg will travel to Carbondale on Thursday to close out the week.
