Prep Golf: Bulldog boys get dual win over CWC

The Harrisburg boys' golf team picked up a 10-stroke win over visiting Carmi-white County Monday at Shawnee Hills Country Club, winning 160-170.

Harrisburg's Grant Wilson took medalist honors with a 34, while the Bulldogs got a 38 from Ashton Hall, a 41 from Brent Lawrence and a 47 from Hayden Emery.

Also contributing for Harrisburg was Evan McDermott (50) and Ethan Golish (55).

<b>McClusky leads Harrisburg girls to triangular win</b>

Madison McClusky took medalist honors for Harrisburg, shooting a 39 and helping the Bulldogs to a triangular win over Carmi-White County and Hamilton County Monday afternoon.

Harrisburg shot a 180, while both Hamilton County and CWC each shot a 203.

The Bulldogs got a 40 from Frankie Leigh Nicholes and a 45 from Gracie Behnke, while Hannah Jones rounded out the team scoring with a 56.

Laura Behnke (60) and Kailyn Harrison (71) also contributed for Harrisburg.

The Southern Illinois River-To-River Conference girls' golf tournament was scheduled for Tuesday, but rain pushed the event to today (Wednesday) and will be played at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Herrin.

On Thursday, the SIRR Conference boys' golf tournament is expected to be played at Hickory Ridge.
