Prep Volleyball: Eagles pick up non-conference win over Carrier Mills

The Eldorado volleyball team picked up a non-conference win over Carrier Mills-Stonefort Monday, winning in straight sets 25-23 and 25-17.

McKana Reid, who was recently named to the All-Tournament Team at NCOE last week, McKana Reid led the Eagles' offense with 25-26 spikes with 11 kills and one block, while going 7-7 on serves with 17 digs.

Karis Lane, who EHS head coach Lisa Craig said played very well, was 16-19 on spikes with nine kills and two blocks. Lane was also 10-12 serves with two aces and 15 digs.

Lily Mosby was 5-6 on spikes with three kills and two blocks, while going 5-7 on serves with nine digs.

"Tori Phelps was very good tonight leading the team with 37 good sets," Craig said. Phelps was also 6-6 on serves with one ace.

Emily Colorado was 4-6 on serves with two aces, while Olivia Griffin was 6-7 serves. Brianna Bennett was 3-3 on serves, while Lily Gangard had six digs.

On Tuesday, Eldorado dropped a 25-10, 25-15 contest against Hamilton County.

McKana Reid was 3-4 on serves with one ace and went 14-17 on spikes with three kills, two blocks with one kill.

Karis Lane was 1-3 on serves with 8-11 spikes with two kills, while Lily Mosby was 6-7 on serves with one ace, while going 3-3 on spikes with one kill and 5-8 blocks with two kills.

Tori Phelps was 2-2 on serves and had 16 sets, while Emily Colorado was 5-6 on serves, 2-2 on spikes with one kill and Olivia Griffin went 4-4 on serves.
