Peyton Danner shot a 1-under par 34 to take medalist honors and lead the Cats to a dual South-7 victory over Mt. Vernon and Centralia.
Marion fired a 165, while Mt. Vernon finished with a 175 and Centralia shot a 179.
Karsten Stotlar added a 42 for the Wildcats, while Zach Plant finished with a 44 and Hunter Henry fired a 45 to round out the team scoring.
Chandler McReaken shot a 47 and Jack Harre turned in a 52. The Wildcats also had a pair of junior varsity scores in Matthew Joyner (53) and Ethan Stout (57).
Kelley torches Kokopelli with 34
Baylee Kelley captured medalist honors after torching Kokopelli with a 34 Wednesday, leading the Marion girls' golf team to a 168-220 win over Mt. Vernon. Wednesday's round tied a season low for Kelley after the senior shot a 34 earlier in the year at Stonewolf Golf club in Fairview Heights.
The Wildcats (35-4) added a 41 from Sarah Capel, while Grace Roper fired a 44 and Zoey Danner rounded out the team scoring with a 49.
Emma Pyatt fired a 58 and Avery Cornett finished with a 59 for Marion.
