Prep Golf: Benton stays perfect, handles Herrin at home

The Benton boys' golf team picked up a 168-200 win over Herrin Tuesday at Benton Country Club.

The Rangers improved to 15-0 overall as Cy Norman captured his 28th career medalist honors after firing a 31.

Other scores for the Rangers included: River Stilley (35), Andrew Bell (36) and Nick Melvin (36), Dash Cantrell (40) and Luke Melvin (45).

The Benton junior varsity team shot a 176 and were led by a 42 from Keaton House, while Chaz Dunford and Docker Tedeschi each fired a 44. Lincoln Thomas added a 46 and Lane McCollum had a 57.
