The Harrisburg Post 167 American Legion baseball team's offense has been red hot as of late and it couldn't have come at a better time.

Fresh off an 11-0 win over Carrier Mills to open the 5th Division Tournament Tuesday night, Harrisburg responded with a 6-2 win over Steeleville and will now advance to Centralia this weekend.

Harrisburg batted around in the bottom of the first as Ben Brombaugh and Colby Morse led off with singles, followed by an Andrew Bittle bunt single to load the bases. A double by Krayton Morse scored Brombaugh and Colby Morse and Noah Boon followed with a two RBI shot down the third base line. Luke Miller reached after an error at third, scoring Boon and another E5 for Caden VanMeter scored Miller.

Harrisburg settled in, giving up a run in the top of the third.

Noah Boon got the win on the mound going six innings and allowing two runs on four hits, while striking out seven and walking four. Brandon Banks came on for one inning of relief work and struck out one.
