Bulldogs get split over weekend

Over the weekend, the Harrisburg wrestling team split a pair of matches, beating Mt. Carmel 66-18 and fell to Carbondale 54-24.

In the win over Mt. Carmel, Tony Keene (113) pinned Jordan Wood in the first period.

In the 120-pound division, Chantz Jaegers got a second period pin fall over Steven Haase. In the 145-pound weight class, Sam Martin picked up a first period pin fall over Zeke Swanson.

Forfeit wins for Harrisburg were awarded to: Sebastian Brown (126), Cameron Carnett (132), Blake Reed (138), Cole Riggs (170), Ty Hutchison (182), Nolan Deaton (195), Bryant Lester (220) and Neal Martin (285).

In the loss to Carbondale, Martin scored a first period win over Zane Willard.
