Eagles win big at Edwards County

The Eldorado offense racked up 492 yards of offense in a 56-18 win at Edwards County Friday night.

Parker Price scored three touchdowns and Dylan Henshaw found the end zone twice as the Eagles had eight total TD's on the night.

The Eagle rushing attack amassed 452 yards on the ground as Price had 201 yards on 25 carries. Brock Cantrell had 101 yards on four carries, while Henshaw carried 16 times for 70 yards. Ezra Burtis also had 70 yards on 12 carries and Aiden Whitlock had eight yards on three carries.

Whitlock had 40 yards passing, all going to Burtis as Whitlock was 3-for-7 under center.

Henshaw got the scoring going on a one-yard fumble return for a touchdown, giving the Eagles a 7-0 lead after Caleb Lindsey's kick.

In the second quarter, Price scored from three yards out and Henshaw had a four-yard touchdown run as EHS took a 20-6 lead into the locker room.

In the third quarter, Edwards County got as close as eight points, connecting on a 58-yard pass play, but from there, the Eagles got two touchdown runs from Price, one coming from 67 yards out and the other from three yards out, while Burtis closed out the quarter with a 13-yard run, giving Eldorado a 42-12 lead going into the final quarter.

In the fourth, Nolan Henson had a fumble return for a touchdown, while Cantrell found pay dirt from 68 yards out.

Eldorado will close out the season Friday at Fairfield.
