CHS football team starts workouts

Conditioning training has begun for the Chester High School football team. Under IHSA rules, conditioning started June 22, 24 and 26 under strict social distancing guidelines, as groups of nine players each worked out on the tennis courts and on two sections of the front lawn of CHS.

Players were screened prior to and after conditioning and had to arrive and leave wearing masks. Players stayed in their assigned groups throughout the entire one-hour workouts and were directed to stay six feet apart and during breaks as well as practice.
