Brian Sullivan of Carrier Mills

Brian Sullivan, 55, of Carrier Mills, left his earthly home at 3:15 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at his residence.

Memorial graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. There will be no visitation; all family and friends should come directly to the cemetery.

Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is assisting the family.

Brian was born on June 29, 1965 in Harrisburg to the late Charles Sullivan Jr. and Earlene (Whitaker) Sullivan, who survives.

It was 23 years ago on April 25, 1998 that he rededicated his life to Christ. He was a member of the Living Hope Church of God in Carrier Mills. He loved reading his Bible and watching Christian television and being with his family. He was a truck driver for 30 years and an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his mother, Earlene Sullivan of Carrier Mills; two sisters, Becky (Steve) Bundren of Pittsburg and Beth (Terry) Matheny of Carrier Mills; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends; a special nephew, Devin Matheny, who was with him during his lengthy illness; and his beloved pet, Poncho.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Chuck" Sullivan Jr; grandparents, Charles and Maddeline Sullivan Sr. and Hilda Whitaker; and great-grandparents, William "Bill" and Mabel Cullum and Tom and Beulah Killman.
