Hardin Sheriff looking for two Juggalettes following Gathering of the Juggalos

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Hardin County Sheriff Lloyd "Smokey" Cullison is hoping to hear from two Juggalettes as the excitement from the Gathering of the Juggalos festival winds down in Hardin County.

Following the festival several friends and family reported to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office about concert-goers who had not returned home. Considering one Juggalo -- Jesse Waters, 24, Murfreesboro, Tenn. -- had been pulled dead from the Ohio River Sunday, Hardin County Sheriff Lloyd "Smokey" Cullison is taking no missing persons reports lightly.

"So far we've accounted for all of them but two. At one time we had eight," Cullison said Wednesday afternoon.

"We found the one boy missing. He drowned in the river. But as of this time two have not checked in. They should have been home late this evening, so there are none we can confirm as missing, yet."

One of the women is from Ohio and one is from Arizona. Cullison will be calling the families to determine if they have returned.

The Juggalos brought their share of mischief to Hardin County in the form of home invasions, garden invasions and plenty of drugs.

"We ended up with 187 citations, 37 arrests and two home invasions," Cullison said.

Those are only cases of the sheriff's department and do not include numbers from the Illinois State Police District 22.

Hardin County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Travis Wade Parker, 28, Kalamazoo, Mich., 3:30 a.m. Aug. 14 on charges of burglary, theft and resisting arrest and he was being housed this week at the Saline County Detention Center.

"He was in the house taking a shower," Cullison said.

The man was in bed asleep when he awoke and found Parker in the shower. The man's instinct was to get his gun, but he had left it in the boat after his fishing trip earlier in the day, Cullison said.

The man ran Parker off and Parker left with a pair of the man's pants, Cullison said. Deputies later found Parker laying in the road in a state of intoxication.

Another homeowner came home to find visiting Juggalos in the home and the Juggalos ran away. Deputies could not locate them.

Many gardeners in the rural Cave-In-Rock area will remember the Juggalos in years to come and will likely not be offering them any free cucumbers.

"We got so many reports of gardens ruined. They stole tomatoes and stuff out of people's gardens," Cullison said.

Cullison said the number of crimes committed by the Juggalos was comparable to previous years. Deputies and ISP conducted extra patrols intended to confiscate drugs.

"We stopped everybody that moved. Of the 187 citations, about 150 or 160 of them were drug-related. These guys left bongs in the front seat or back seat. Guys had marijuana and were not even trying to hide it. That's probable cause for a search. They are just not the brightest stars in the sky," Cullison said.

And a note to future Juggalos from California: Medical marijuana prescriptions are no good in Illinois. Smoking marijuana in front of police during a traffic stop will result either in a fine or jail time whether or not there is a prescription.
