Country Financial donates to Carrier Mills outdoor classroom

Country Financial representative Ron Brachear presented a donation of $1,500 to Carrier Mills-Stonefort Superintendent Bryce Jerrell on Aug. 4, to support the Outdoor Classroom Project at Carrier Mills-Stonefort Grade School.

"We are so pleased to be able to help take care of those who help care for us and enrich our lives every day within our community, our teachers" said Brachear.

"This donation is a small token of our appreciation that I hope will continue to positively impact our community through encouraging our young people with additional learning opportunities."

Since 2020, Country Financial has donated more than $4 million to organizations and programs that support teachers, first responders, active-duty service members and veterans, part of the company's vision to "enrich lives in the communities we serve."

The company's Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support nonprofit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans and their families.

Later, the program was expanded to include first responders and teachers.
