June is bustin' out all over ... the Eldorado Memorial Library

Join the Eldorado Memorial Library for a June full of summer activities. And don't forget to sign up for the summer reading series. The library is at 1001 Grant St.

Dewey Decimators Book Discussion Club: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2. The discussion topic this month is "The Great Outdoors," books that mostly take place outside or on a road trip. The club meets monthly on the first Thursday of every month. Don't have a book you want to discuss? Join us anyway and possibly discover your new favorite book/genre!

Summer Reading Begins: Monday, June 6. Get started today by picking up a summer reading packet!

Art Camp: 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 7, 14 and 21. Join us on the 7th to make friendship bracelets (ages 6+), on the 14th to tie-dye (bring a white shirt, all ages), and the 21st for guided painting (ages 6+).

Storytimes: 2-2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 15 & 29. Join Caitlin Burklow from the CATCH program for a story and activities. Ages 3-7.

Cheer Camp: 5-6 p.m. Thursday, June 16. Hope to learn some cheers! Ages 5-12.

Library closed: Monday, June 20.

Sidewalk Art: 5 p.m. Thursday, June 23. Show off your artistic skills with sidewalk chalk! All ages.</h3>

Movie Night: 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28.

Film Crew Movie Club: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 30. Join us for a group centered around discussion of your favorite films and the artists who bring them to life. This month's topic is "Thor: Ragnarok," a 2017 Marvel film directed by Taika Waititi.
