End-of-the-year picnic

  • The Perandoe Special Education District's Deaf/Hard of Hearing Picnic was held on Thursday, April 28, at Lincoln Park in Red Bud. Students and their parents from Chester, PEP, Prairie du Rocher, Red Bud, Sparta, Valmeyer, and Waterloo attended. They made bubbles and slime, had "animal face toast" as a snack, hit the playground, drew with sidewalk chalk, and played soccer and wa-wa ball. They also enjoyed pizza, chips, cookies, ice cream and drinks. All of this would not have been possible without the generous help of the following: Red Bud City Hall, Waterloo Lions Club, N & B Fuel and SC Crop Insurance. The students and staff would like to thank them for their generous donations!
