LifechurchX will be hosting the first services at their new Waterloo-Columbia campus on Easter Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. The new campus, located at 9538 Caring Way in Columbia, will serve as the new central office for the church as well.
This building sat empty for years before the recent purchase by LifechurchX. Renovations and updates to the Waterloo-Columbia campus have already begun. Future plans for the building include constructing a new sanctuary, youth centers and shared community spaces.
Traditionally, Easter is one of the biggest church services across all denominations. So to have a first service on this important day is very special to the church.
"I want to voice my sincere gratitude to all of the contractors and volunteers to be able to pull off this aggressive timeline and goal of moving in Easter Sunday," said Senior Pastor Matt Heck.
LifechurchX began in 2016 and has two campuses -- Jerseyville and now Waterloo-Columbia. They also offer a livestream service every Sunday on Facebook and YouTube.
