Agencies come out for free senior expo in Du Quoin

A free senior expo was hosted Thursday by Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin, where 14 local agencies listened to area seniors and explained how they could help.

Seniors got free health screenings from Pinckneyville Community Hospital, while Marshall Browning Hospital scheduled seniors for their annual wellness visits.

Other agencies and businesses represented at the expo were Beltone Hearing Aid, Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home, Zach Gooden State Farm insurance, the Perry County Housing Authority, the Rea Clinic, Hospice of Southern Illinois, Weiss Monument of Sesser, Gold Plate, Marshall Browning Estates, Western Egyptian, South Central Transit and Centerstone.
