Steeleville Area Public Library April events

The Steeleville Area Public Library will hold the following events in April:

April 9: Virtual Story Hour, online only; watch via the library's website or Facebook page.

April 9: Easter Curbside Crafts

April 15: Library closing at 3 p.m. for Good Friday

April 18: 7 p.m. board meeting

April 22: 4 p.m. book club. It's not too late to join. Call the library to request a copy of our current read, "The Mystery of Mrs. Christie."

April 27: 3 p.m. Teen Advisory Board meeting. If you want to join our TAB, just come to a meeting. Eighth to 12th graders welcome.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten milestones

800 Books: Adeline Armstrong, age 4, daughter of Nick and Jennifer Armstrong of Steeleville.

800 Books: Arabella Armstrong, age 4, daughter of Nick and Jennifer Armstrong of Steeleville.

600 Books: Paxton Armstrong, age 2, son of Nick and Jennifer Armstrong of Steeleville.

500 Books: Mollie Smith, age 1, daughter of Sean and Heather Smith of Wine Hill.

300 Books: Noah Walls, age 4, son of Robert and Katie Walls of Percy.
