The family of Zach Zappa, a senior SIU Pep Band soloist, gathers for Senior Night Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Banterra Center on the campus of Southern Illinois University. Zappa is a former Chester High School music standout and has been involved with the Saluki Marching Band and Pep Band all four years at SIU. The Salukis had just won their final home game of the season by beating Illinois State, 90-68. Zappa was recognized during a halftime ceremony.
