Low-cost tech 'Pop Up' set for Jan. 28

MARION - Community members in need of affordable technology might be eligible to obtain equipment and services at affordable costs thanks to a partnership between Marion Carnegie Library, the City of Marion and PCs for People.

Distribution of the low-cost technology will take place on Jan. 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the City of Marion Training Center, 211 E. Boulevard Street.

Windows computer packages will be available for $20.

Eligibility is determined on a variety of factors including receipt of income-based governments assistance and household income.

PCs for People offers internet service from $0-$16 per month. Email internet@pcsforpeople.org for more information.
