Legence Bank donates funds to Head Start
On Dec. 13, Legence Bank in Mounds made a combined donation of $1,000 to Southern Seven Head Start sites in Cairo and Mounds. Each site received $500.
The donation came from funds given to the bank as part of the Community Reinvestment Act.
Head Start is one of five local educational institutions to receive the donations, and plans to use the money to enhance program services.
