Women's Club enjoys holiday lunch, concert

The Chester Women's Club gathered Dec. 9 at the Chester Country Club, where members and guests enjoyed the club's annual Christmas luncheon.

President Chris Bowles welcomed everyone. Guests included Amy Wunderlich, April Gremmels, Adrienne Baker, Kimberly Wetzel, Carrie Eggemeyer, Mary Rosendohl, Christy Phillips, Linda Heineman and Judy Petrowske. There was no business meeting.

Entertainment was provided by the Chester High Swing Choir, under the direction of Steve Colonel. Musical selections included "Mary, Did You Know?", a medley of highlights from "White Christmas," and "Joy To The World." Soloists were Will Smith, Alex Hennrich, Cesar Marquez, Odessa Flores, Abby Bollmann and Kaleb Bollmann.

The Chester Women's Club will meet next at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at the First United Methodist Church fellowship hall. Hostesses will be Gwendy Garner, chairman; with Lois Tindall, Mary Beck, Louise Liefer and Pam Sheely.

The scheduled speaker will be Brenda Owen, who will discuss the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Experience.
