97 active COVID cases; vaccines available

The Randolph County Health Department is reporting 97 active cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, Dec. 13, with three people hospitalized from the virus. Of the active cases, 42 are new cases. The health department continues to host free clinics to administer the first, second, third and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Boosters are now recommended for everyone 16 and older

• Thursday, Dec. 16, Pfizer, Moderna and J and J - adult, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Wednesday, Dec. 22, Pfizer adult 9-10 a.m., Pfizer pediatric 2-4 p.m.

• Thursday, Dec. 23 - Pfizer, Moderna and J and J - Adult, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Wednesday, Dec. 29, Pfizer pediatric 2-4 p.m.
