Autumn, Halloween are winning subjects in fall decorating contest
The judging is complete for the Halloween Main Street Lantern Decorating Contest and bully for the creativity displayed all over Du Quoin.
First place goes to the Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home.
Second place is awarded to Banterra Bank.
The Gold Plate senior center is the third place winner.
And the Du Quoin Chamber's lamp post came in fourth.
The winners be given gift certificates from the local businesses of their choice.
The city thanked everyone for the seasonal spirit and sense of community.
