Sen. Fowler to host blood drive in Marion

MARION - Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood.

Just one blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives.

To help meet the current demand for blood donations, Sen. Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) is partnering together with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center to host a blood drive on Wednesday, April 28 at the Hub Recreation Center Gymnasium in Marion.

Donors are encouraged to come out to participate and will receive either a pair of limited edition socks or a gift card.

Donors are reminded to observe social distancing and wear a mask.
