Co-host of Sportsman Channel hunting show visits Eldorado Rotary

ELDORADO – The Sportsman Channel recently added a new TV show for hunting enthusiasts called "Grace, Camo & Lace." One of the stars of that show, Alli Armstrong from Elizabethtown, stopped by Dad's BBQ in Eldorado to meet with the Eldorado Rotary Club Tuesday.

Armstrong is also a member of the national champion archery team at Southeastern Illinois College. She was joined by head coach Archie Blair.

Blair remarked on Armstrong's accomplishments and a long list of awards she has won including 2016 National All-American and Academic All-American in Division I US Collegiate Archery, 2015 USCA Women's Bowhunter National Champion, 2017 Safari Club International Young Female Hunter of the Year (awarded in Las Vegas), and co-author of the book "Hunting Dream Jobs."  He pointed out that Armstrong has accomplished a lot in her 19 years, even starting her own jewelry line with her younger sister, Adriana.

Armstrong showed a music video used for her TV show, as well as a number of photographs of her family and the many hunting experiences they have had together.  She explained that she is more of a big game hunter while her sister prefers predator hunting.  The entire family lives to hunt, and even uses their vacation time for hunting expeditions.

When she is not hunting, she is attending SIC full time to earn a business degree, and Southern New Hampshire University's online program for communications with emphasis in public relations.

"Grace, Camo & Lace" airs on the Sportsman Channel Mondays at 5 p.m., Saturdays at 3 p.m. and Sundays at 12:30 a.m.  They also have a Grace, Camo & Lace website (www.gracecamoandlace.com), Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube Channel.
