Eldorado Garden Study Club celebrates 73 years
ELDORADO - On June 27, members of the Eldorado Garden Study Club gathered at the home of Charli Franks for a celebration of the club's 73rd birthday.
Hostesses Dana Keating and Donna Hearn served a light lunch with birthday cake. After a short meeting, the group then toured Charli's beautiful raised-bed garden where she grows a large variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers.
She shared with the group how she designed and created the garden with the help of her family, as well as giving heirloom tomato plants to interested club members.
