From one village to another, squad car donated

Friday afternoon Carrier Mills Police Chief Chuck Rubright handed over the title to an older squad car the

village decided to donate to the Creal Springs Police Department, which was in dire need of a new police car.

At the October meeting of the Carrier Mills Village Board, Police Commissioner Greg Prince suggested donating their older squad car to the Creal Springs Police Department, as they were in a tough position with their old squad car and did not have the funds to purchase a new one.

The board voted unanimously in favor of making the donation and Rubright moved forward immediately with the donation.

Creal Springs Mayor Joyce Rich and Creal Springs Police Chief Nick Rider were grateful for the generous donation from the Carrier Mills Village Board.
