Dakota Wall, 20, and Chad Bennett, 22, both of Pinckneyville were arrested Friday afternoon on multiple charges stemming from the 2010 murder of Wall's half-sister, Sidnee Stephens.
Both were charged with accountability on the following charges: first degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, home invasion (two counts), residential burglary, and kidnapping. Bennett also faces an additional accountability charge of concealment of a homicide death.
Sheriff Keith Kellerman said accountability means the suspects aided, agreed with or attempted to aid in Stephens' murder. Both are incarcerated in Perry County Jail. Bond is $500,000 for each of them.
Stephens' body was found in the Beaucoup Creek in July 2010. Shortly after, Carl Dane, James Glazier and Robbie Mueller were arrested and charged with her murder.
Dane pleaded guilty in 2011 then committed suicide in jail. Glazier and Mueller were both found guilty in stipulated bench trials. Glazier was sentenced to 60 years in jail. Mueller's sentencing is set for Oct. 25.
Sheriff Kellerman said he did not expect any other arrests in the Stephens murder.
