George Isaac Unthank

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[George Isaac Unthank, 65, Eldorado, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at St. Mary&#39;s Hospital, Evansville, Ind., after an extended illness.

George owned and operated Value Motors in Eldorado for several years, having been a licensed used car dealer since 1979. George was a hardworking man and proud of it. He faithfully attended Ridge Street Church of Christ in Eldorado, where he was baptized on Nov. 2, 1983, and again on Dec. 3, 1994.

George was born on Dec. 3, 1944, in Eldorado to his loving mother, Edith Faye Huckabee, who survives in Eldorado, and to James "Jimmy" Unthank, deceased.

George is also survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Cindy Elaine (Cochran) Unthank. George and Cindy were united in marriage on Jan. 15, 1981. They stuck together through everything, for better or worse.

He is also survived by four children, all of Eldorado, Christopher George Unthank, Billy Isaac Unthank and Martha, Gary Wayne Unthank and wife and Linda Marie (Unthank) Goolsby and Chris; seven grandchildren, Austin Unthank, Andrew Unthank, Aiden Unthank, Amber Lynn Unthank, Cassandra Goolsby, Christopher Goolsby and Chevy Goolsby; and three sisters, Pat Huckabee of Eldorado, Cindy Huckabee of Murphysboro and Kim Huckabee of Kentucky.

He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara J. Cochran, who survives in Galatia; his father-in-law, Donald E. Cochran, who survives in Eldorado; two sisters-in-law, Vickie and Madonna of Galatia and Raleigh; four brothers-in-law, Walter (Denny) "Bob" of Eldorado, Terry (Barb) of Eldorado, Jeff of Harrisburg and Donald Lee of Eldorado; and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Visitation was noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, at the Eldorado Church of Christ on Ridge Street. The funeral was held 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Franklin Gray officiating. Burial was in Lindale Cemetery. Arrangements are in the charge of Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado.
