</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ludene Blackman, 78, 109 Pyle St., Carrier Mills, died 11:12 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at Landmark Hospital, Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Services will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at Stonefort General Baptist Church in Stonefort with the Rev. Jeff Owens officiating. Burial will be in Reids Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Felty Funeral Home, Carrier Mills.

She was born on April 1, 1932, in Williamson County to the late Cecil and Esther (Swan) Fox. She married William A. Blackman on Feb. 17, 1978.

She was a member of the Stonefort General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, William A. Blackman of Carrier Mills; two daughters, Paula Engleby of Harrisburg and Donna Palmer of Galatia; three stepchildren, Carson Blackman of Ogalla, Neb., Cami Prochnow of Seward, Neb. and Wesley Blackman of Minneapolis, Minn.; three sisters, Reathel Wilkins and Virginia Davis, both of Carrier Mills, and Kathryn Black of Crab Orchard; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Reynolds.
