Floyd Kelley Jr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Floyd Kelley Jr., 66, of Eldorado, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at his residence.

He was the husband of Clara Lynn (Swier) Kelley.

Floyd was born in Sulphur, La., on Dec. 23, 1942, the son of the late Floyd W. and Margaret (Swier) Kelley.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He worked as a custodian at Peabody before retirement

Floyd is survived by two daughters, Tina Kelley of Texas and Carmen Kelley of Texas; five sons, Matthew W. (Andrea) Kelley of Johnston City, David W. (Janice) Kelley of Texas, Thomas (Maureen) Kelley of Texas, Robert Kelley of Texas and Troy (Heather) Kelley of Colorado.

He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Floyd is also survived by three sisters, Cathy Kelley of Texas, Claudette (Russell) Faux of Iowa and Rhonda Kelley of Louisiana.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Kelley III; and a brother, Gene Kelley.

Mr. Kelley was cremated at his request and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Scott Street Baptist Church in Eldorado.

Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado is in charge of arrangements.
