Rhonda Kay Teal
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rhonda Kay Teal, 50, a resident of West Frankfort, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at her home.
Rhonda was born Jan. 20, 1959, in Marion to Gene Teal and Kay (Carner) Teal.
She is survived by her father, Gene Teal and his wife Joan of Buncombe; her mother, Kay Teal of West Frankfort; her son, Second Lt. Wesley Cole Emery, stationed with the U.S. Army in Enterprise, Ala.; her daughter, Amanda Kay Emery, along with her children Haleigh and Aiden, who were the light of Rhonda's life; two brothers, Keith Teal of New Burnside and Brad Teal of Tennyson, Ind.; two sisters, Lisa (Teal) Cooksey of Thompsonville and Lana Teal of West Frankfort; a stepbrother, Ted Wardrip of Evansville, Ind.; a stepsister, Jonna (Wardrip) LoPresti of Paducah, Ky.; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Martin Gardner.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Darwin and Edith Carner; and her paternal grandparents, Juanita (Evetts) Teal, and Claud and Mae Teal.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. The Rev. Bill Gholson will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, Carrier Mills.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the Bailey Funeral Home.
