</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Faye Glassman, 79, Murphysboro, formerly of Carrier Mills, died 9:27 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1929, in Carrier Mills to the late Carl and Clara Edith (Overstreet) Harris. She married Daniel Glassman, who preceded her in death in 1988.

She is survived by a son, Terry (Shelia) Glassman of Murphysboro; and a granddaughter, Shayna (Jeremy) Hull of Harrisburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.
