John Robert Reynolds
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. John Robert Reynolds, 63, of Eldorado, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2009 at Gibson General Hospital, Princeton, Ind.
John was born in Harrisburg on May 17, 1945, the son of the late Harry Reynolds and Virginia (Webb) Snedecor.
He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a laborer in a factory. He was a member of the Eldorado VFW.
John is survived by four daughters, Tracie J. Hicks of Galatia, Sandy McKay of Streamwood, Marilyn Long of East Dundee and Mary Lou Reynolds of Eldorado; a son, Timothy J. Hicks of Kansas; and eight grandchildren.
John is also survived by two sisters, Brenda Olson of Eldorado and Carla Springer of Raleigh; a brother, Jerry Snedecor of Kankakee; two aunts, Vivian Hetterchite and Joan Boots-Smith, both of Harrisburg; a special friend, Mary Lou Hoffman of Eldorado; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Glenda Mace.
Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, Eldorado, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg with military rites. Friends may call 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home Chapel.
