Lora Belle Dale

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lora Belle Dale, 94, Equality, died 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at Ridgway Manor Nursing Home.

Services were held 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at Equality United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Allison officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation was 11 a.m. to service time Monday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Earl Jones Funeral Home, Equality.

Lora was born Dec. 24, 1914, in Pocahontas, Ark. to James and Clara (Ford) Alphin. She married Burton Eugene Dale, who preceded her in death.

She attended Equality United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy (Duson) Gagach of Granite City; four sons, Kenneth (Mary) Dale of Tempe, Ariz., Bob (Susie) Dale of Equality, Jim Dale of Phoenix, Ariz. and Anthony (Velma Kay) Dale of Cross Plain, Tenn.; 28 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by three sons, Charles Dale, Larry Dale and Eugene Dale.
