Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at Old Christian Chapel Church near Bungay with the Rev. John Gunter officiating. Burial was in Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro with graveside military rites by McLeansboro American Legion Post No. 106. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at Gholson Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
