OBITUARY: Donna Rose Beal

Donna Rose Beal, 82 of Harrisburg, passed away 6:15 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Roy and Blanche Mattingly Lane. She was married to John Beal who survives her. She attended Spring Valley Social Brethren Church.

Surviving Donna are her husband, John Beal; four sons, Greg and Karen Beal of Arizona, Larry and Sara Beal of Ozark, Gordon and Jauna Beal, Harrisburg and Wayne and Johni Beal of Harrisburg; three daughters, Jonetta (Mike) Shank of Metropolis, Charlene (Brian) Rodgers of Harrisburg and Anita Lovellette of Harrisburg; one brother, Scotty Lane of Texas and Becky Jones of Golconda; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Blanche Lane; six brothers, W.R. Lane, Lee Lane, Bobby Lane, Toby Lane Lonnie Flint Lane and Daniel Lane; and six sisters, Juanita Butler, Clara Ward, Imogene Brantley, Pearl Hall, Anna Jane Lane and Wanda Anderson.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Dye Jr. officiating and burial in Spring Valley Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at the J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home.
