</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kathryn Rushing, 54, of 2295 Ozark Road, Ozark, died 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2009, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Stan Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery near Ozark. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1955, in Chicago to the late William and Alice Jean (Whipple) Choate. On Sept. 22, 1974, she married Larry Rushing, who survives.

She attended New Vision Church near Ozark.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Rushing of Ozark; a daughter, Jennifer Rushing of Ozark; a son, Brian Rushing of Ozark; two brothers, David Jesse Choate of Eddyville and Donald Choate of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Jerred Downey and Jamie Lee Rushing, both of Ozark.
