Ferrell V. Tedford

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ferrell V. Tedford, 80, 1500 Reed St., Eldorado, died 6:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.

Services were held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial was in Sunset Garden Cemetery with graveside military rites. Visitation was 11 a.m. to service time Monday.

He was born May 25, 1929, in Broughton to William and Mary (Jones) Tedford. In 1953, he married the former Anna Griffith, who survives in Eldorado.

He was a custodian at Eldorado Unit No. 4 and an Army veteran. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William (Melissa) Tedford of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter, Mary (Randy) Brothers of Eldorado; three sisters, Loreen Omohundro of Harrisburg, Nellie Morse of Michigan and Irene Barger of Eddyville; two grandchildren, Jennifer Irvin of Eldorado and April Vaughn of Eldorado; a great-grandchild, Emily Irvin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Clark and Donna McGill.
