Jack C. Minor

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mr. Jack C. Minor, 77, of Westmoreland, Tenn., formerly of Illinois, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Minor will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Gipson officiating. Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, and 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Ky.

Pallbearers will be Greg Minor, Neal Minor, Gary Jenkins, Tim Baker, Bobby Payne and Kevin Minor.

He is survived by his wife, Nadine L. Nation Minor of Westmoreland, Tenn.; two sons, Gregory Minor of Lafayette, Tenn. and Larry Neal Minor of Gallatin, Tenn.; four daughters, Rhonda Sue Jenkins of Portland, Tenn., Lisa Mae Payne of Gallatin, Tenn., Jacquelyn B. Minor of Westmoreland, Tenn. and Clarice A. Baker of Westmoreland, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Minor and Ida Belle Selfph Minor.

Mr. Minor was retired from Mason Dixon Truck Lines. He was a United States Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a member of Christian Gospel Temple.

Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, Tenn., is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
