</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bobby Ray Dale, 68, Equality, died 8:38 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at his residence.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Earl Jones Funeral Home in Equality with Dr. Roger Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at the funeral home.
He was born July 28, 1941, in Gallatin County to Burton Dale and Lora Belle Alphin. On July 7, 1997, he married the former Susie Brooks, who survives in Equality.
He was a coal miner and a member of Equality United Methodist Church and McLain-Glover American Legion Post No. 595.
He is survived by five sons, Norman (Becky) Dale of Harrisburg, Donny (Jaclyn) Dale of Equality, Brian (Tasha) Dale of Eldorado, Wade Dale of Charlevoix, Mich. and Steve (Caitlin) Hollaway of Equality; three daughters, Diane (Jayme) Clifton of Harrisburg, Debbie (Ryan) Gebke of Bartelso and Katie (Tony) Hall of Muddy; three brothers, Kenneth (Mary) Dale of Tempe, Ariz., Jimmy Dale of Phoenix, Ariz. and Anthony (Velma Kay) Dale of Cross Plains, Tenn.; his mother-in-law, Elsie Brooks of Equality; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and three brothers, Eugene, Larry and Charles Dale.
